The Proximus 24 Hours of Spa

Spa-Francorchamps, 30 July 2006: Everything is reassuringly quiet at Spa this morning. The team has worked hard through the night with all the drivers running double stints, making steady progress back up through the field. Tim Mullen is now in fifth place with Marino Franchitti ahead in fourth. Franchitti is chasing down the third-placed Spyker that is four laps ahead of the no.62 Ferrari.

There is little else to report apart from the Spyker having an ‘off’ that helped car 62 catch up a little and one of the GPC Ferraris running into trouble, aiding car 63’s position. There is a lot of debris on the circuit which is causing havoc but otherwise all is well.
