Andrew Kirkaldy and Tim Mullen locked up the front row of the British GT grid at Magny Cours today, putting the two Scuderia Ecosse Ferraris on pole position and second place respectively for tomorrow’s three-hour race.

The British GT field are running against the FIA GT contenders but governed by British GT regulations. Speaking after a hot qualifying session, Andrew Kirkaldy commented, “It’s great to have the British pole. I’m a little disappointed to be third in FIA GT2 terms but we did the best we could do considering the regulations. We’re close enough to GruppeM though and should be closer in the race but we’re mindful of the fact that we are here for the British GT Championship…that is the most important thing.”

Tune into Eurosport tomorrow for all the action.
